Safety is our number one priority. We keep kids safe by limiting class sizes and choosing campus locations away from those being used by other camps, professors, 体育菠菜大平台 students or organizations during the summer. An additional Loper Launch Staff member will always accompany students if they leave their classroom. Additionally, teachers are trained in specific safety procedures to ensure students remain safe at all times. Every student is under adult supervision at all times.
We extended Loper Launch to include Countdown Hour. You can drop off your student anytime between 7:30 and 8:45 AM at the College of Education Building. During this time, students are provided the opportunity to read, play games, do puzzles, color, and play on computers in a non-structured, supervised environment. Cost: $10 per week; $6 if qualify for free/reduced lunch
Most of our classes will have 12-18 students. If a workshop has fewer than 12 students registered, we will unfortunately need to cancel the class.
Yes! Email loperlaunch@taogoods.net with your student’s name, grade they are entering, and the name/date/time of the class you would like to join. We will add you to the waitlist and contact you if any spots open up.
If you cancel while registration is still open, you will be refunded the registration payment minus a 20% cancellation fee. No refunds will be given if cancellation occurs after registration is closed.
You will be notified early May if a workshop must be canceled due to low enrollment. If this occurs, we can either 1) move your student to a different workshop; or 2) fully refund your registration fee.

Reading Academy students are grouped by reading level, with 12-18 students in each class. They are taught by THE MOST AMAZING reading specialists, with additional support from graduate students from 体育菠菜大平台's Speech Language program. The instruction is a mixture of whole group, small group, and one-on-one. Additional activities include campus "field trips," guest readers, and weekly themed events.

Our classes are taught by certified teachers or 体育菠菜大平台 students training to be teachers. All adults working with Loper Launch campers have undergone background checks.
The Summer 2025 Class Proposal Application will be posted here soon. All proposals are due January 19, 2025. We encourage teachers from the surrounding community to propose one-week Loper Launch workshops they would like to teach!
