All classrooms will be developmentally appropriate socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually to foster individual growth of the children
All classrooms will provide exposure to emergent reading, writing, art, music, social sciences, physical education and science
Designated classrooms will use Creative Curriculum (building on children’s knowledge to develop confidence, creativity and lifelong critical thinking skills)
Selected classrooms will use the GOLD Assessment, an authentic, observational assessment system for children from birth through kindergarten.
Classrooms will follow the Pyramid model, a framework for promoting social emotional development in infants and young children through the use of positive behavior supports.
Other classrooms will use the Montessori Approach (student centered approach that encourages exploration, independence and lifelong learning)
Engaging environment and interactions with indoor and outdoor learning activities.
Nutritious meals and snacks will help nourish the children
Family engagement opportunities will be offered to help parents feel more connected to their child’s learning and development
